Okina and Kitsunes

The last time I drew Okina was on my winter break. I modified this image from a sketch I'd done in the summer of 2009, and painted it using my tea staining method. Okina is never far without her three kitsune companions and I view this image somewhat like a family portrait.

Star Tree

I normally don't do adoptables, but I really enjoyed the creatures Glider was making. I scooped one up for myself and decided to draw her :) 

Absynthe: The Japanese Bobtail

This is a remake of an old character from 2008-2009. I updated her look while still keeping her notable characteristics, and I changed her species from canine to feline.

Shizuka

A commission for Kcravenyote on deviantART.com of her female feline/kitsune character Shizuka. The kimono was inspired and referenced from the Heian period. The pose was also referenced, as I have a hard time drawing kimono without a visual of some sort, but I tried my best not to pull too much from the original prints. I loved this curve these women were drawn with in many prints, and I really wanted to do it myself for this piece :)

Stripes
